The avediaServer is available in three separate, but complimentary, unit configurations. One configuration enables VoD and Scheduled play. The second allows EPG control and the ability to customise the user interface via a programmable  web portal. The third, and most recent addition to the avediaServer product family, is the Record Module. It enables continuous looped recording for up to 30 channels simultaneously (in total up to 1333 hours of recording), with the ability to download the stored content for later playback.

avediaServer (VoD and Scheduled play)

is available in three platform configurations with upto 500Mbps capacity allowing 125 simultaneous VoD streams. With this operating capacity, the VoD options of the avediaServer are suitable for on-demand movies in hotels, corporate training and video content for education. The scheduled play option of avediaServer allows organisations to create a range of in-house IPTV channels by scheduling the playout of video assets stored on avediaServer. The three platform options are
Lite: 50Mbps of bandwidth allowing up to 12 VoD channels, scheduled play and Web Portal
VoD 200: 200Mbps of bandwidth allowing upto 50 VoD channels and scheduled play
VoD 500: 500Mbps of bandwidth allowing upto 125 VoD channels and scheduled play

avediaServer (EPG and Web Portal)

The EPG module automatically collects program information to create an organisation specific resource. EPG information is collated from DVB streams, information from scheduled play module and imported XML feeds. The Web Portal Module enables organisations to create a branded web-based user interface for the IPTV services available. The Web Portal integrates live TV channels, VoD and scheduled playout content with other web derived information such as RSS feeds.
The Web Portal can be integrated with hospitality PMS systems to provide personalized
guest service and entertainment systems.

avediaServer (Record module)

The avediaServer Record Module provides continuous looped recording in a variety of disc sizes to suit the needs of an organisation. The module works with both standard definition (SD) and high definition (HD) channels and can record up to 30 SD or 10 HD channels simultaneously. The Record module is manufactured with a variety of disk sizes, from 640Gb to 4Tb. Disks are organised in RAID 5 configuration providing improved reliability and disaster recovery capability.
