Scart Transmitter to Scart Receiver

The PRO-6002 and PRO-6005 are video and stereo audio transmitters that also transparently send IR control signals. Two versions are available for either Scart or RCA Phono connection to the sending device, for example a SKY satellite decoder or DVD player.

There is also two versions of the receiver available, the PRO-6001 and PRO-6004. As you will note any combination of the transmit or receive units can be used.

These standalone units enable you to be able to send video, stereo audio and IR control up to 300 meters of CAT5/X cable. By simply utilising the IR control handset supplied with the relative decoder / DVD, you are able to control the device as if it was in the same room with you.

Power is applied to the transmitter by means of a 12Vdc PSU, the receiver is powered down the same CAT5/X cable as the AV / IR signals. The PRO-6001 Scart receiver also forces the connected TV into AV mode automatically. This is done by adding power to PIN 8 of the Scart connector. Or holding PIN 8 high as it is commonly known. These are commonly used to remote SKY decoders in both domestic and commercial applications.
