General Description

The HSC1DK is a complete high performance extender set which enables a HDMI connection to be established up to 50M over a pair of UTP (Cat 5e/ Cat 6) cables Distances of up to 100M can be achieved by adding a repeater unit (available separately).

This extender set supports IR pass through which provides for IR control of the source equipment from the display end of the link. For example, a Sky receiver located up to 50M away from a display screen can be controlled using a standard Sky remote control handset at the display screen.

Any source (Blue Ray player, HD satellite receiver, HD Freeview receiver, video server, game system) can extended regardless of whether the source is HDCP protected or not.

The HSC1DK offers an ideal solution for advanced home entertainment systems or commercial applications where it is required to save space, maximize security, eliminate noise, reduce cabling and optimize aesthetic appeal by having nothing more than a TV display screen on view.
