The PRO 6000 has been specifically designed for the large house or small business. Utilising the same technology as the successful PRO 1000, it delivers high quality video and audio over UTP cables making it the ideal home video distribution system.
On the input side it supports 4x video + stereo audio sources, 5x video + mono audio sources and 2x CCTV sources. In addition, 2x remote sources can be connected by Cat 5 using transmitters at the source end. On the output side it supports 6x TV displays connected by up to 300M of Cat5 cable.
The system offers users fully interactive control of satellite and terrestrial television, radio, HI-FI and CCTV equipment from any point in the building using proprietary infrared control. By using one of the many multifunction handsets available in the market, all sources and the PRO 6000 itself can be controlled using one handset.
Inputs are connected via RCA phono connectors and outputs are RJ45, making the system simple to install. Wherever a CAT5e outlet is available, services can be delivered with minimum disruption.

HDTV UPGRADE
There are two options for upgrade of the standard definition TV and video distribution installation to HDTV. The first option, illustrated below, provides for HDTV viewing in a principal room with Standard Definition TV (SDTV) viewing elsewhere. Here, the HDTV device is connected directly to the HDTV display and a SDTV output is taken back via a transmitter to one of the Aux inputs of the PRO 6000. The Aux input source is selectable at any of the 6x viewing points (Rooms 1-6).

The second option for HDTV upgrade, illustrated below, provides for HDTV viewing in several rooms with Standard Definition TV (SDTV) viewing elsewhere. Here, the HD component video output of the HDTV device is distributed via PRO 9000 series transmitter/ receivers over Cat 5e/ Cat6 cable to as many rooms as required. An SDTV output of the HDTV device is connected to an input of the PRO 6000 so that it can be viewed in SD format at any of the 6x viewing points (Rooms 1-6).
